Control Panel Version 2.8

Release Date: October 7, 2008

The control panel update is for all chumbys running Client 1.6 or higher.

Pandora now available as a music and alarm source
Volume slider has been added to the main control panel screen
Improved post-alarm actions for alarms with internet streaming audio source

Removed Hide Control Panel button from the main control panel screen. The wireframe chumby with widget thumbnail can be tapped to return to the widget playback
Added support for external user-defined music sources (documentation and sample source code will be coming soon)

If an iPod's USB cable is removed from a chumby without first tapping the Eject button, the chumby will not recognize the iPod when reattached. You will need to reboot the chumby, reattach the iPod's USB cable to the chumby, and then select iPod as a music source to start playing music again. (Chumby does not currently support iPods with extremely large numbers of songs.)
If a chumby reboots with a USB device attached, the USB device may not be recognized. You will need to unplug the USB device, reboot the chumby, and then reattach the USB device. If you are using alarm files on a USB device, when your chumby reboots you may want to test the playback of the alarm file using the music player in the control panel.
