Pandora Radio
Let Pandora expand your musical horizons—just enter a song or artist and Pandora will create a "radio station" based on your entry. You can create up to 100 personalized stations. Visit the Pandora site to learn more about how it selects the music for your stations.

If you have lots of stations, you can scroll through your list by pressing and holding your finger on the touchscreen and then sliding your finger up or down.
The arrow tabs for "view previous album" and "view next album" do not change the song; they only control which album is shown on the screen. You can tap Menu for additional song/artist options on the album displayed. The Options button lets you make changes to the station that's currently playing.
Setting up pandora on chumby

The first time you select Pandora Radio, you're asked if you're an Existing User or a New User.

If you already have a Pandora account, tap Existing User. Enter your Pandora email account and password to load your stations.

If you don't have a Pandora account, tap New User. On your computer, go to www.pandora.com/chumby and follow the onscreen instructions. Once you finish the set-up process on Pandora.com, your stations will be available on your chumby.
creating a new station

To create a new Pandora station on your chumby, tap Create a new station.

Enter the name of an artist, song or composer and Pandora will search for it.

If Pandora needs more information about what you've entered, you'll see one or more additional screens.

If you've created more than one station, a special station called QuickMix is added to the top of your list. QuickMix shuffles songs from the first two stations you created. If you delete either of those stations on your chumby, QuickMix will no longer appear. You can change the stations included in QuickMix on Pandora.com.

menu—song and artist options

The Menu tab takes you to options for the song/artist currently shown.
- I really like this: A thumbs-up vote has several effects:
- The very next set of songs for this station will be directly generated using the song which received the thumbs-up vote.
- Future sets of songs are more likely to have similar musical traits. Multiple votes on this station for other similar songs will have a cumulative effect.
- All songs that have received a thumbs-up vote on this station will each become members of a new invisible starting point for this station.
- I don't like this: A thumbs-down vote has several effects:
- The song will stop playing, if there are any "skips" remaining on this station (6 per hour, per station, or per QuickMix).
- The song will be deleted permanently from this station's playlist.
- If this is the second thumbs-down to a particular artist within this station, the artist will be banned from playing on this station.
- A new set of songs with a different musical emphasis will begin to play.
- Future sets of songs are less likely to have similar musical traits. Multiple thumbs-down votes on this station for different songs will have a cumulative effect.
- bookmark song: Adds this song to your list of Bookmarked Songs on Pandora.com.
- bookmark artist: Adds this artist to your list of Bookmarked Artists on Pandora.com.
- Why play this?: Describes why the song was selected for this station.
- Snooze a month: Prevents this song from being played in any of your stations for 30 days. It won't ban the song permanently.
